Grandparents' Day at Villa Duchesne and Oak Hill School is a special way for our lower school students to spend time with their grandparents or another very special person and show them what we love about our School.
We invite grandparents to bring a picnic lunch to share with their grandchildren on Thursday, September 9, at 11:30 am on the front lawn of the 1929 Main Building. Classroom visits and pictures with grandparents will follow the picnic lunch. Tables and chairs will be available on the front lawn.
Please respond below by Thursday, September 2, if you are able to attend.
In addition, to maintain social distancing, we are asking that each family register for a time for their classroom visit(s). Classroom visits (10-minute time slots) are available from 12:15-1:30 pm.
On Grandparents' Day, if you experience a wait time for your classroom visit, please enjoy our beautiful campus and make sure you have your photo taken in the Duchesne Building, enjoy our playground and yard games, take a walk on the nature trail, or say a prayer as you enjoy the Cesar Martinez Memorial Garden! Due to frequent changes in COVID-19 policies, information, and guidance, we are asking that at this time visitors to campus wear masks when indoors, regardless of their vaccination status. Masks need not be worn outdoors or when eating or drinking. Please see our current COVID-19 Guidelines for more details.
We ask that you kindly refrain from bringing picnic foods with any tree nuts or peanuts to help us keep students with allergies safe.
