We joined with others across the world this past Tuesday to celebrate the International Day of Peace. This year, the National Peace Day theme was “Recovering better for an equitable and sustainable world.” We, as a school community, combined this with our school year theme “Ignite your Passion and Purpose.” In art class, students in grades JK4-6 used repurposed or recycled items to make art that spreads peace or shines a light to remind us to “ignite peace” and spread it wherever we go. After a beautiful prayer service, the students paraded past our statue of Mater Admirabilis singing and praying for peace in our world.

Oak Hill Students spread peace and light in the school halls and classrooms.

May Oak Hill students shine their light for all to see and ignite peace in our world!
