BASKETBALL

Varsity faced two tough competitors last Thursday and Friday. The girls fought hard and never gave up both nights but couldn't keep up in the end. On Thursday, Elizabeth Burns led the way in scoring with eight points and on Friday, Nancy Metz was the high scorer with six points.

Last Thursday, Junior Varsity traveled to Nerinx. Although the Saints played well and never quit, they fell to Nerinx 19-42. Ava Gueck scored eight points and Megan Korte and Sophie Walbrandt each scored four. On Friday, JV traveled to Burroughs to play another strong team. The Saints trailed the Bombers for most of the game but the team didn't quit. Led by Ava Gueck who scored 17 points and Emma Haas who scored eight, the Saints pulled ahead in the fourth quarter and won the game 34-31.

SWIMMING AND DIVING

Due to the holiday season, there are no meets for the swimming and diving team until January 10, when they will compete in a tri-meet against Visitation and Ladue.
