Passport to Summer welcomes students from all schools to experience athletics, academics, and adventure on our campus. Our Youth 5-Day Programs are open to boys and girls entering the grade levels indicated. All other programs are open to girls only.

The educators who lead our summer programs are knowledgeable in their fields of study and enthusiastic about providing a fun, educational summer experience. Staff members are trained in First Aid and CPR, and a registered nurse is on campus during programming.

YOUTH 5-DAY PROGRAMS


All 5-Day Youth Programs provide a hot breakfast, lunch, and snack, all of which are included in camp tuition. All full-day camps have complimentary before and after care beginning at 7:15 am and ending at 6 pm every day of camp. Youth Programs offer daily swimming lessons and free swim for all campers with weekly field trips to St. Louis attractions. Campers will be divided into age groups for all Youth Program activities. All 5-Day Youth Programs are available to boys and girls entering Grades JK3-6.  

Welcome to the Jungle I & II
June 5-16          Cost per week: $295, Two-week discount: $575
Animal lovers will enjoy animal encounters, learn about our ecosystem, and play zoological games. The first session includes a trip to the Saint Louis Zoo; the second, a trip to Grant's Farm. 

Camp Einstein I & II
June 19-30       Cost per week: $295, Two-week discount: $575
Aspiring scientists will explore engineering through LEGO robotics and participate in science projects and computer coding. The first session includes a trip to The Magic House; the second, a trip to the Saint Louis Science Center. 

Around the World I & II
July 10-21        Cost per week: $295, Two-week discount: $575
Calling all travelers! Campers will enjoy a cultural journey that includes the opportunity to speak in French, cook Greek cuisine, and paint Indian artwork. The first session includes a trip to the City Museum; the second, a trip to Upper Limits. 
 
Aquapalooza I & II
July 24-August 4   Cost per week: $295, Two-week discount: $575
Aquatic adventures commence as campers learn about the depths of the ocean and explore the wonders of the sea. Campers will launch water balloons and enjoy maritime escapades. Each session includes a trip to an area water park.

YOUTH 4-DAY PROGRAMS


Youth athletic camps are open to girls from all schools entering grades K-8. Girls move from the basics to advanced play. All Youth Athletic Camps are $125 per session.

Field Hockey – May 30-June 2, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm       
Lacrosse – June 5-8, 9:00 - 11:00 am  

Stem Camp and Middle School Study Skills are open to all girls regardless of the school they attend. 

STEM Camp
June 12-15        Cost: $375
Grades 6-8       9:00 am - 3:00 pm
This STEM session helps students stay on top of the exciting world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, ignites enthusiasm in these areas, and instructs the next generation of thinkers. Lunch is included for all participants. 

Middle School Study Skills Workshop 
 June 5-8           Cost: $295
Grades 6-8       11:30-3:30
This study skills prep course will help prepare students for their middle school careers by focusing on study skills, organizational planning, reading with understanding, and writing with purpose. The course will help students become more comfortable with middle school expectations and workloads.

Due to MSHSAA regulations, high school sports camps are limited to Villa Duchesne students entering Grades 9-12. All High School Sports Camps are $125 per session.

ACT Prep and High School Study Skills are open to all girls regardless of the school they attend. Our Global Studies Seminars are open only to Villa Duchesne students.

ACT Prep Boot Camp
June 5-9           Cost: $325
Grades 11-12     9:00 am - 1:00 pm
This "boot camp"-style prep course is conveniently scheduled just before the June ACT. It is designed to help students hone their test-taking skills with tips and practice tests. 

High School Study Skills Workshop 
 July 17-20             Cost: $295
Grades 9-10       11:30-3:30

Global Studies Seminar: New York City
May 30-June 7       Cost: $1800
Grade 10
This for-credit Social Studies course gives students the chance to explore the concept of globalization by travelling to New York City (from June 1-3) to explore the international history, culture, and economics of this great metropolis.  Working with Social Studies teachers Rebecca Rubin-Schlansky and Marty Rubio, students will enrich their learning by visiting Wall Street and the financial district, the 9/11 Memorial, Ellis Island, and other sites. They will also learn skills helpful in their sophomore World Civilizations II course. Students must be registered by April 1, 2017, to attend. Eight (8) students must be registered by April 1, 2017, for this program to operate. A full refund will be given if the trip is cancelled by the School. Please note that this seminar is only available to Villa Duchesne students. 

Global Studies Seminar: Santa Fe
June 8-14       Cost: $1950
Grades 11-12
The Global Studies seminar series is excited to offer its first seminar on the history of the American West. Designed to introduce rising juniors to themes in their junior United States History course and led by Social Studies teachers Rebecca Rubin-Schlansky and Marty Rubio, the course will explore U.S. history through the lens of the American West. Students will experience the often untold stories of cultures of the American West. From stories of Native Americans, to the Spanish and Mexican period, to the annexation by the United States, New Mexico offers a fascinating exploration of the complexity of U.S. history. 

This course will include a few days in the classroom for important content and seminar-style discussions to best prepare students for experiential learning out West. Students will travel to Santa Fe June 10-13. Travel details will be available once minimum registration is reached. Students must be registered by April 1, 2017, to attend. Eight (8) students must be registered by April 1, 2017 for this program to operate. A full refund will be given if the trip is cancelled by the school. Please note that this seminar is only available to Villa Duchesne students.
