Theology

Through her study of theology, a Villa Duchesne graduate will have a knowledge of the Judeo/Christian scriptures to be able to understand and connect them to her daily life; have a strong foundation of the Catholic faith, including its history, doctrine, and worship; have the necessary skills to reflect upon and evaluate her own attitudes and behaviors toward God, self, and others; have explored and experienced various forms of spirituality and prayer methods that will enhance and sustain her life after graduation; and understand what it means to live a life of integrity, morality, social activism, and service with a profound respect for all types of diversity.

"In computing class, we did a career project and we had to make a PowerPoint. We had to research all of this information. I knew I wanted to be a doctor that worked with infants and so I looked up Neonatology and I really liked it."
