Welcome from our Oak Hill Principal

A core component of a Sacred Heart education is showing students the world and giving them the tools necessary to make an impact as an individual. In order to do this, we collaborate as a faculty to incorporate signature experiences within our program. We strengthen our students understanding of the world from working with our local ecology center to creating virtual classrooms with students in the U.S. and across the globe.

We believe that a curriculum is a living, breathing work in progress. It is continually assessed to ensure that we are providing our children a program of the highest quality. That's why we have created our Oak Hill Makerspace to allow children to participate in problem-based learning. We also have a Director of Student Activities to provide opportunities for our students to engage in activities which enhance our program, socially and academically. After school, we offer our extended-care program, Acorn Club, so our students can explore a variety of extra-curricular activities in conjunction with our other after-school programs.

As Sacred Heart educators, we take pride in our commitment to provide programs which educate our students in their spiritual, academic, and personal growth. The fostering of a strong foundation in the Sacred Heart Goals and Criteria and the nurturing of our students to share their talents and care for others will ultimately result in individuals who are of strong character and will make a positive impact in our world.

I invite you to learn how Oak Hill grows children in mind, body, and spirit.

"My son’s Kindergarten brain is clearly being stretched, which he loves! He tells us what he’s learning about the artist Piet Mondrain and his use of vertical lines; he greets us with “Bonjour” at breakfast time; he shares his enthusiasm for the probability games they play during math class; and he looks forward to building a volcano in science class. Thank you so much for all the joy you have brought to our home."
