Welcome from our Director of Enrollment Management
At Oak Hill, we promote the development of the whole child. Our goal is to create a happy, nurturing, respectful environment. We teach to a deeper level of learning through critical thinking, problem solving, communication skills, collaboration, creativity, and differentiation. We fuse imperative 21st century skills with traditional reading, writing, and arithmetic. At the foundation of these intellectual and interpersonal skills are the traits of character. We know that we must send these children forward with intellect, tenacity, work ethic, wisdom, faith, and compassion. This is the very essence of our Catholic, Sacred Heart education.
Also a hallmark of an Oak Hill education is the partnership that is built between the school and parents; this is integral to a child’s successful experience at our school. The Acorn Club is one way we partner with parents. This before and after school club is designed to support busy parents and extend each child’s learning day. Parents can drop off children as early as 7:00 am and pickup until 6:00 pm. There are no additional fees associated with the Acorn Club for the 2015-2016 school year. We also encourage parents to become involved in the school in a number of ways as we have an active Mothers' and Fathers' Club.
To truly get a sense of our school, I invite you to schedule a visit. During your tour, you will have an opportunity to learn more about Sacred Heart education, see teachers and students in the classroom, and explore our 60+ acre campus.
