Vice President of Institutional Advancement

Villa Duchesne/Oak Hill School seeks a Vice President of Institutional Advancement (VPIA) to lead the school's advancement team to new heights of achievement.  The VPIA reports directly to the Head of School and is responsible for raising $2+ million annually.  The VPIA will immediately become fully engaged in the design, development, implementation and management of a $20-$30 million campaign that will be launched within the first two years of employment.  The VPIA must have demonstrated campaign success, a positive leadership style, individual initiative, a team/mentor approach to management, and a solid understanding of all aspects of Advancement including cultivation and solicitation of major gifts, marketing and communications, alumnae/alumni and donor relations, and an understanding of Federal and State requirements of 501(c)(3) organizations. This important role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, expertise in developing fundraising strategies, and implementation of those strategies.  Working closely with the Advancement Committee of the Board of Trustees, the VPIA will guide all areas of fundraising with a donor-centered approach.
 
A minimum of ten years of experience in leadership of a high-goal, multi-year capital or comprehensive campaign are required, as well as a proven ability to motivate and mentor staff. Advanced degree and prior experience in an independent school environment are preferred.  The successful candidate will be an actively practicing Catholic committed to the ideals of a Catholic, independent, college preparatory educational program and should possess outstanding leadership, communication, interpersonal, administrative, and organizational skills.  Candidates should send a cover letter and resume to Villa Duchesne/Oak Hill School, Manager, Human Resources at hr@vdoh.org.

Accounting Supervisor

Villa Duchesne/Oak Hill School seeks a full-time Accounting Supervisor.  This position is responsible for fund accounting and comprehensive maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of financial reports and year-end audit work, bank and investment reconciliations, fixed assets, and budget analysis.  In addition, this position works closely with school administration and faculty on a variety of duties, most notably, the management of department budgets and preparation of period end financial reports.  

A bachelor's degree in accounting and three to five years of non-profit accounting or audit experience is highly desired.  The successful candidate is a self-starter with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to apply critical and analytical skills to solve problems, organize and prioritize multiple tasks according to firm deadlines and significance, and the flexibility to work on non-accounting projects are required. Intermediate/advanced PC competence including Windows XP operating system and intermediate/advanced level spreadsheet expertise is also required. JV Lacrosse Coach
JV Soccer Coach 

A bachelor's degree is preferred for head varsity coaching positions.  Candidates must have a minimum of 60 hours of undergraduate coursework to be considered for assistant and junior varsity coaching positions. Candidate should have prior coaching and/or playing experience. Playing experience at the college level and prior experience in athletic camps/clinics is a plus.
