  Oak Hill French

Students in junior kindergarten through grade six have the unique opportunity to learn the French language. The instructional program strives to build confidence in understanding and speaking French. Activities using the "building blocks" of listening, reading, speaking, and writing promote language acquisition.

The Symtalk™ technique, Oak Hill's approach to effective foreign language instruction, is an exciting method that focuses on language retention, using three basic elements: flash cards, sentence books, and conversation. When combined, the Symtalk™ technique achieves unprecedented results in daily usage and retention of the language. French instruction is provided once a week for students in junior kindergarten through second grade and twice a week for third through sixth grade students.
