Alison Sanford
Mrs. Alison Sanford serves as the Math Department's Instructional Leader. She enjoys working in both the Middle School and High School at Villa. She earned a B.M.E. degree from the University of Missouri and is a Distinguished Graduate of Webster University with a Masters in Secondary Mathematics Education. Mrs. Sanford particularly enjoys the application of mathematical ideas to real-life situations and hopes to instill in her students an appreciation of math in the world around them.
Chris Campbell
Mrs. Christine Campbell is enjoying her third year at Villa Duchesne. She currently teaches Geometry, Algebra II, and Statistics/AP Statistics. Mrs. Campbell is a distinguished graduate of Fontbonne College with a B.A. in mathematics and a MBA with concentration in Finance and Statistics from Washington University in St. Louis. Mrs. Campbell has been active in the professional mathematics education community at both the local and national levels for many years. She hopes to instill in her students an appreciation for the power and application of mathematics and the dignity of hard work.
Claudia Dicken
Mrs. Claudia Dicken earned her B.S. in mathematical sciences from Stanford University. After a career in computer programming, she returned to school and earned her M.A. in education from Maryville University. Now in her fourth year at Villa Duchesne, she teaches students in grades 8 through 12. Mrs. Dicken's mission is to inspire fearlessness and tenacity when her students are faced with mathematical conundrums. In the process, she hopes her students find joy in the beauty of numbers.
Tony Fressola
Mr. Tony Fressola is in his third year at Villa Duchesne. Along with teaching AP Calculus, he is also the math resource teacher. Mr Fressola completed his undergraduate work at Denison University where he was named a Math Department Fellow. He pursued graduate studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he earned a Master's degree in Mathematics.
Michelle Goetz
Mrs. Michelle Goetz has been teaching mathematics in Catholic schools in Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, and Missouri. She earned her B.S. in Mathematics from the Missouri University of Science and Technology, and her teacher certification and master's work in Curriculum and Instruction at The University of Iowa. Certified to teach mathematics for grades K-12, Mrs. Goetz has taught fifth graders through seniors that mathematics has connections to every discipline.
Stacy Halter
Mrs. Stacy Halter is enjoying her fourth year at Villa Duchesne teaching seventh grade pre-algebra and ninth grade algebra. She received her B.A. in education from the University of Iowa and her M.A. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She spent seven years teaching math in the North Kansas City School District before moving to Saint Louis. Mrs. Halter likes to make learning fun for her students and hopes to instill in them a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom.
Cora Marty-Farmer
Ms. Cora Marty-Farmer is teaching geometry and advanced algebraic topics. She completed her undergraduate work at Bryn Mawr College, a small liberal arts school in Philadelphia. Ms. Marty-Farmer is currently completing her Master's degree in mathematics at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she taught college algebra for five semesters.
