Resources for Teachers, Parents and Students
This page is an educational technology resource for teachers, students, parents, and administrators as they create a technology enriched learning community. Resources include web-based units, web quests, proven sites for teacher assistants, resource sites for reading, writing, math, science, social studies, art, music, and P.E., primary age sites, areas of technology, research resources, gifted education, character education, professional resources, holiday sites, scavenger hunts for classrooms, online greeting cards, clip art, and games; plus a plethora of specific uses of technology in education.
Essential Questions
Essential questions are questions that require you to make a decision or plan a course of action. Writing essential questions takes patience and practice. As you begin to develop research skills or assist your students, keep in mind that as an adult (as well as a student!) we are constantly required to make decisions and plan courses of action. Learning an effective set of tools to help do both will make you more successful.
Adult Learning Opportunities in Technology
These technology learning opportunities are available both locally and online for teachers interested in expanding their understanding of technological pedagogy and seamless technology infusions.
Independent Planning in Technology
Villa Duchesne/Oak Hill teachers can feel free to contact Stephanie for ANY informal planning of technology with curriculum, classroom management, teacher web page design, research-based evidence of technology in education, informational journals for technology, tools for organization, tools for infusion, and anything one can "imagine" one might create for classroom infusion.
